After studying and working in the ECE sector as an early childhood educator, a team leader, a nanny, a mentor, a home-base program coordinator for more than 10 years, I am excited and honored to introduce myself now as one of the teachers and the centre director of Little Wings.
I value building a relationship of trust with family and children, and I am passionate about supporting each child to flourish.
I believe my role is to create a solid foundation enabling each child to learn how to live and enjoy life.
My vision is that children from my centre are able to cultivate moral values and mutual respect so that one day they will walk in the world as confident and resilient citizens.
It has been an exciting journey to set up Little Wings. With my heart full of gratitude to all the amazing people who have and will be involved, I anticipate a bright future of Little Wings.
I am working as the manager and the team leader in the Under Two's area at Little Wings. I am very excited to be part of the team at Little Wings!
After working for 6 years with young children, and now with my own precious little one I am truly convinced how important a caring, responsive and respectful environment is in giving your children a great start in early life.
I am very enthusiastic and motivated and love my job helping little ones have fun and grow and develop as responsible, caring and confident little people.
I have an education degree and also speak Spanish.

Hi parents and families. My name is Ye, or you can call me Jill.
I have been a full-time mother over the past 2 years of my two lovely children, Kyle and Chloe. It is exciting to go back to the workforce and start my new journey working as the chef and a permanent relieving teacher at Little Wings.
I have been growing such great interests at young children’s learning and development since the beginning of my motherhood, self-studying and inquiring professional knowledge from becoming an in-home educator.
My two children have also enlightened my passion at making nutritious delicious food that is fundamental to their health, well-being and holistic development.
I enjoy the process learning and playing together with children, and believe that children learn best in a welcoming, caring, respectful environment.
Ki Ora, I’m Sian Jones originally from Nelson. After having an extended OE in Europe and Asia I finally returned to New Zealand. For many years I taught English as a Second Language then after my daughter Taffia started school I became an Early Childhood Teacher.
I am passionate about early childhood education being the most important time in children’s lives for starting them on their journey in learning. I feel as caring teachers we need to encourage every little thing they are interested in, within reason.
As a teacher I feel it is important to learn about our community, our language(s) for learning, our heritage(s), problem solving, teamwork, and our environment. Encouraging a love of literacy from a young age will prepare your child for school.
I look forward to meeting our families.
Koey SinTung Wong
My name is Sin Tung Wong, or you can call me Koey. I come from Hong Kong. I have been in New Zealand for 5 years.
I graduated from the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Teaching) at the University of Auckland.
I enjoy learning together with children and I want to know more about their world through interacting and engaging in their learning process.
As a teacher, I believe working together and building collaborative relationships with parents and whanau is one of the key elements in providing children meaningful learning experiences.
I respect every child as a unique individual, and trust in each child's mighty ability to construct their knowledge and meaning personal to them.
I can't wait to meet all the children and families at Little Wings in the near future.
